A.C.R Conservatory Services
Decor
BACKDecorating of an Amdega Conservatory can be a tedious job for anyone undertaking this work, so for the New decoration to be effective and long lasting then we would recommend the following to be undertaken
For all external decoration to take place all conservatory surfaces are to be prepared thoroughly by lightly sanding (even the Glazing Beads) to allow for a good key and adherance of the new paint systems.
Sometimes due to earlier water based block primers used by Amdega Conservatories (manufacturer) the paint applications that was previously applied the surfaces have to be stripped right back to bare wood to get the correct surface for the New paint systems as the existing (yellow) Block primers if not removed can cause "Blistering" under the New Paint to be applied.
Reccomendations:
- Only use oil based paints (Sickens)
- Primers (Zinsser Coverstain Primer White)
- Solvent Cleaner to remove oils and Silicates
